Daniel Piper is an author, comedian and national poetry slam champion. He has been seen/heard on TV/radio and toured across the UK and Europe. His debut book, Arbitrary and Unnecessary, was published in 2018. He is the 2017 Scottish National Poetry Slam Champion (he lived in Glasgow for a while). In 2017 he also came second in the World Poetry Slam Championship (first the worst, second the best). His Instagram writing page has been featured on BBC News and was recently named a “must-follow account” by Wallpaper Magazine. His work has appeared in publications including The Skinny, Terrible People Magazine, The Alarmist and more.
